AR Apps and AR Research & Development Projects:

I have sold more than 150 commercial AR projects and apps for different vertical markets: advertising and marketing, education, industrial manufacturing, tourism, etc. I have managed more than 30 Research and Development Projects in the fields of Augmented Reality, Computer Vision and 3D rendering

ARPA AR was a global pioneer and one of the worldwide leading AR software platform with more than 30.000 developers coming from more than 120 different countries. ARPA AR Software platform was finalist as Best AR Platform in the AWE AR Event Awards (Silicon Valley) in 2013, 2014 and 2015. 

The main competitors of ARPA Platform were Metaio AR Pltaform (acquired by Apple) and Vuforia SDK by Qualcomm (acquired by PTC). Now Google is offering ARCore and Apple is offering ARKit, AR SDKs that are very similar to what was ARPA AR SDK.

ARPA AR Platform was a set of software tools and apps:

ARPA AR Platform used the power of set of proprietary tracking technology solutions, including 2d image multidetection and multitracking, 3d face detection and tracking, 3d objects detection and tracking and gps and sensors tracking.

ARViewer was a pioneer and disruptive AR Hardware patented product developed in 2010 and installed in different touristic and cultural spots in Spain. This AR product was shortlisted in 2013 as Best AR Hardware by AWE Awards Event in Silicon Valley (US).

ARViewer was a device for the visualization of 2D and 3D AR content over the real image of the world around, adding value to the visitors of touristic, cultural and historic places, offering to the visitors interactive and augmented information about the monuments and touristic sites.

The device had a high precision rotation system (0-360º), a camera tilt system controllable via touch screen, an optical zoom system (x10) controlled via touch screen, possibility of optical zoom in the augmented image, high image quality camera  and motorized zoom, touch screen visible outdoors (32"), anti-vandal mouse and speakers, mechanical stop system to limit the turn, indoor and outdoor operation, 3 different oparting modes: 2D AR, 3D AR and multimedia mode.
